6/6/14

Breathe deep. Take in every drop of sorrow. Let the piercing oblivion of nothingness fill your veins. Feel the twisted mass of hopelessness that was your soul sink to the depths of your  stomach. As your body melds with your surroundings, you share the sorrow with another to your right. Just as the one to your left did for you. Hidden in the dark corner of the of the world you all have found each other, bringing gaping holes of blackness with you. None of you was able to escape its gravity field and now you circle each others as well. You chuckle softly at the thought of the solar system your group has built. Nothing escapes. Sleep creeps over you as the dawn approaches, vaguely you sense others stagger off to their corners in search of their own sleep without rest. Her face manifests just as you take the leap into a dream, she throws you hard against the dark floor. you feel her drain you of all meaning. All purpose. You beg your body to move but inky tentacles secure to the floor. she closes the distance between you. Panic rises in your chest but you know it's already too late.
"I would have loved you." Her voice is hallow and inhuman. "Why...."
You finally force your eyes open, out of that world. You can still taste her flesh on your lips' The sorrow still flows through your body and you allow your mind to float among the memories of her. Nothing lasts. It will always turn to ash at your touch.
