"It's amazing how quickly love turns into disgust when betrayal is involved." She said around a mouthful of meat.
"How can you be so cold?" Kath glared at her behind iron bars, "She loved him."
"Yes," She swallowed, "but that was a long time ago. Time changed both of them. She was never able to forgive him, I always expected she'd do something like this."
"How do you know that? She never even hinted at something like this."
"I'm a woman. I wouldn't have let him live if he had done that."
"Your kind is...." Kath stopped himself as blue flames began to dance across her fingers.
"Wait here," She moved cautiously toward the entrance of her tent. "and stay quiet. We don't want you getting hurt again."
Kath smiled to himself as she left the tent, only she would use the same term for a small cut to a titan bite. Maybe she could help him fight this infection before he killed off entire villages. After all she clearly had suffered the same thing.
